Insurance & Fees
Health Insurance/No Show Fee
We accept most major insurance companies, among them Anthem Blue/Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, United Health Care, CIGNA, Point 32, NH Medicaid, NH Healthy Families, Wellsense, AmeriHealth Caritas and Ambetter. If you have insurance we will check with your insurance company on your behalf to see if the services you want are a covered benefit and what your out-of-pocket expense may be, if any. If you have a co-pay, payment is expected on the day of your appointment.
Both medical and surgical abortion services are covered under many major insurance plans. We accept Anthem Blue/Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, United Health Care and CIGNA. If you have insurance we will check with your insurance company on your behalf to see if abortion is a covered benefit, your deductible and what if any your out-of-pocket expense may be. If you have a co-pay and/or co-insurance that sum is expected to be paid the day of your appointment. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and cash payment.
Please note: NH Medicaid, NH Healthy Families, Amerihealth and Wellsense does not cover abortion or abortion related services except in very rare circumstances (i.e. rape or endangerment to the patient’s life).
No Show Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please call as soon as possible. EHC charges a $25 fee for no show appointments. This does not apply to abortion/abortion related appointments.
Uninsured
Full payment is expected at the time of service. We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover (debit or credit cards),money orders and cash. If you are not insured, fees for services vary and we will provide you with an estimated cost when you make your appointment. We understand that many experience difficulty obtaining the full fee for your care. If you are struggling and concerned about how to pay for your care, please give us a call and our staff can help you problem solve.
Fees are calculated on a “sliding scale” based on family size and income.
